Director of AI Enablement and Business Transformation

New Clarity is hiring a senior AI and business transformation leader who thrives at turning operational challenges into practical, AI-powered solutions.

We're looking for someone who has experience sitting with business leaders, understanding how work gets done, and rapidly delivering solutions. Note that this is more hands-on than managing infrastructure or managing large technical projects for organizations.

You'll partner with executives and department leaders at our clients to identify opportunities, build intelligent automations, improve decision-making through data, and help teams adopt AI in ways that create measurable business value.

• Identify high-value opportunities where AI can improve speed, quality, and efficiency
• Design and deploy production-ready AI workflows and business automations
• Build practical tools using modern LLMs, APIs, and workflow platforms
• Establish AI best practices, prompt standards, and enablement programs for business users
• Help business teams confidently integrate AI into their everyday work

• Improve client visibility through meaningful reporting and analytics
• Improve data quality across key business systems
• Translate business questions into practical reporting solutions

• Work directly with our clients' leaders across finance, operations, recruiting, sales, HR, and customer support
• Identify repetitive manual work and replace it with scalable automation
• Create lightweight integrations between business systems
• Prioritize initiatives based on measurable business impact rather than technical elegance

• Collaborate with existing IT and technology teams to ensure new AI capabilities integrate cleanly into the organization's technology environment
• Support governance, security, and responsible AI practices without serving as the primary owner of enterprise IT operations
• Help evaluate emerging technologies and recommend where they create genuine business value

Within your first few months, you'll have:

• Delivered several visible automations that eliminate meaningful manual work
• Created a prioritized roadmap for AI initiatives across the business
• Improved client reporting around key operational metrics
• Established an efficient intake process for new AI opportunities
• Built credibility by shipping solutions

• Has successfully deployed AI solutions into real business operations
• Can move comfortably between executives and frontline employees
• Understands business processes as well as technology
• Is hands-on enough to build solutions without waiting on large development teams
• Has experience with APIs, automation platforms, Python, Google Apps Script, or similar technologies
• Has worked with Power BI or comparable analytics platforms
• Enjoys solving operational problems more than managing organizational charts

Essentially this role is about becoming the person executives call when they ask: "Can AI make this process dramatically better?"
