This policy explains what personal information New Clarity AI LLC ("New Clarity", "we", "us") collects through the website at newclarity.ai (the "Site"), how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors to the Site. Information that clients share with us during an engagement is governed by the written agreement for that engagement and any non-disclosure agreement, not by this policy.
Information you give us. When you use the contact form or book a call, we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, company and message. If you apply for a role with us, we collect the application details you submit, such as your resume and location. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our systems and our analytics provider collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that referred you, and general location derived from your IP address. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
Newsletter. Our newsletter, The Clarity Brief, is published on LinkedIn. If you subscribe there, LinkedIn collects and controls your subscription information under its own privacy policy; we see only what LinkedIn shows publishers.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we do not collect payment information through the Site.
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and schedule calls, to prepare proposals and communicate about potential or current work, to consider job applications, to operate, secure and improve the Site, to understand how the Site is used, and to comply with legal obligations. If you have asked us to stay in touch, we may email you about our services; you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use the Site for targeted advertising.
The Site uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, your approximate location and your device, and processes that information on Google's servers. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The Site may not work fully if cookies are disabled.
The Site also uses strictly necessary cookies that make it function, such as remembering a consent choice.
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, including hosting and database providers, analytics providers, email and scheduling tools, and our customer relationship management system; with professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where needed; with authorities or other parties when the law requires it or to protect our rights; and with a successor if our business is sold or merged. These providers may only use the information to provide their services to us.
New Clarity uses AI tools, including large language models from third-party providers, in its own work. Where those tools touch information from the Site, we use them under business terms that do not permit the provider to train models on the data. Client data handled during an engagement is governed by the engagement agreement, which sets out the controls that apply.
We keep contact and inquiry information for as long as we are in an active conversation or relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward, generally no more than three years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or by a client agreement. Job applications are kept for up to one year unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's settings, currently up to fourteen months.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and reputable hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to opt out of certain uses, such as targeted advertising or the sale of personal information (neither of which we do). You may also have the right to appeal a decision we make about your request. To exercise any of these rights, email info@newclarity.ai. We will verify your request and respond within forty-five days, or tell you if we need more time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Where a browser-based universal opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control applies, we treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and sale, which we do not engage in.
The Site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
New Clarity is based in the United States and the Site is hosted there. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site you agree to that transfer.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page.
