An advisory firm that works with company leaders asked New Clarity to analyze how 400 mid-sized companies in one industry position themselves to customers. The firm needed structured findings from hundreds of unstructured websites, and needed them quickly to anchor a keynote to 500 CEOs. New Clarity built a pipeline that read each site, scored each company on consistent criteria, and produced a comparable dataset the firm turned into strategic recommendations.
The evidence existed, but only as marketing copy spread across 400 websites in every format imaginable. Reading and scoring them by hand would have taken hundreds of hours the firm did not have. It needed a way to convert unstructured content into structured data, apply the same criteria to every company, and find the patterns across the whole set.
A custom analysis pipeline. It retrieved the relevant content from each company's site, categorized services, messaging and customer focus, and scored how clearly each company articulated its value against a fixed framework. The output is a clean, comparable dataset with a row per company, ready for analysis and presentation.
Every score traces back to the page content it was drawn from, so a finding can be checked against its source. The evaluation framework was fixed before the run, so every company was judged on the same criteria, and the firm's consultants reviewed the findings before anything reached the stage.
The analysis showed wide variation in how companies communicate value, common gaps in clarity and customer focus, and specific examples of companies doing it well. Those findings became the centerpiece of a keynote to 500 CEOs, and the firm's client responded strongly. The same approach turns any large body of public information, such as a market, a portfolio or a competitor set, into evidence a firm can act on.
